Day 1 : Port-au-Prince - Arrival
Upon your arrival at the Toussaint Louverture International Airport in Port-au-Prince, you will be welcomed and transferred to the splendid Visa Lodge hotel.
You will appreciate the tranquility of this hotel as well as its restaurant.
Once registered and installed, take some time to rest. Ordering a Prestige beer while enjoying the freshness of the pool would be a good way to enjoy the hotel facilities and start your vacation.
Day 2 : Port-au-Prince / Jacmel - Excursion : National Pantheon Museum - Breakfast ￼
Upon awakening, the sweet aroma of Haitian coffee will tell you it's time for a tasty breakfast. Enjoy every minute during your meal.
Then get ready for a guided tour of the Haitian National Pantheon Museum in the capital. It's an architectural masterpiece reminding the houses of Haiti's first inhabitants, the Tainos. The Museum is a true testimony of Haiti's history, the Tainos, the slavery and the independence.
Once the visit is over, you will be driven to Jacmel. On the road, beautiful landscapes will pass before your eyes; you will understand why Haiti means «mountainous land». You will cross the southern mountain range offering exceptional panoramas. Ask the driver to make a stop so you can immortalize your favorite landscape.
It is at Colin's Hotel that you will be warmly welcomed and will register. Colin's Hotel is an old house from the end of the 19th century, converted into a hotel. It has recently been restored and decorated to preserve the colonial architecture of the old Jacmel. Colin's Hotel is a reminder of the charm of the buildings of its time.

In the evening, we suggest you to try restaurant Chez Chantal located a few minutes walk from the hotel to enjoy a delicious smoked fish ($$$).
Day 3 : Jacmel - Excursion : Jacmel, yesterday's and today's reality + Jacmel at night - Breakfast
After a hearty breakfast, get ready to understand the difference between the two realities of Jacmel. You'll be told the city's history; since its foundation until today. A guide will tell the story of the oldest houses in the city, as well as their well-kept secrets.
After this excursion, for dinner, Florita hotel's restaurant will be suggested ($$$).
In the evening, a second excursion called «Jacmel at night» awaits you. It will immerse you in the symbolic history of voodoo through its philosophy, practices, rhythms and particular, but significant singings. Your guide will accompany you to a voodoo temple with the presence of a priest to trace a "vèvè" and answer all your questions.
Day 4 : Jacmel - Excursion : Jacmel through its masks, legendary characters and its Papier mache - Breakfast
Upon awakening, you will have breakfast calmly. The excursion of the day will show you why Jacmel is called «Creative City». It will present to you the city's carnival culture through its craft products. You will discover the close relationship between the annual carnival, its papier mache masks and the legendary characters. You will visit a workshop so you can make your own mask. Finally, your guide will take you to play the conga to the rhythm of Konpa (Haitian cultural dance). You will synchronize your hands with the rhythm of this catchy music.
In the evening, have a relaxing moment: visit Florita hotel to taste their specialty, sour rum; or head to the Kombo Club for a delicious Prestige beer.
Day 5 : Jacmel - Excursion : Jacmel and its nature - Breakfast
In the morning, the aroma of the good Haitian coffee will tell you it's breakfast time.
The excursion of the day is under the theme of nature. You will discover the nature side of the city through its authentic sites and the life of the Jacmelian peasantry (Etang Bossier, La Vallee, etc.). You will breathe the forest's perfume while walking with your guide.
In the evening, you will relax by going to the Barack or the Vatican club to dance to the sound of rhythmic music ... you will not be able to resist the music that will invite you to dance.
Day 6 : Excursion : Bassin Bleu waterfalls - Breakfast
You will wake up peacefully and wait impatiently for the cherry on the sundae while you have breakfast. This cherry is: Bassin Bleu. A jewel composed of extraordinary falls and caves. The cool water of this waterfall is surprisingly limpid. By diving in it, you will feel like entering a fountain of youth. The time you'll spend in Bassin Bleu will be memorable, because it will provide you a lot of fun.
In the evening, you will go through a range of emotions by attending plays prepared by the youth of the community at the Alliance Francaise.
Day 7 : Jacmel / Port-au-Prince - Excursion : Noailles Village - Activity : Hiking and shopping gifts and souvenirs - Breakfast
Your last hours in Jacmel. After breakfast, take a short walk on the legendary Boulevard du Bord de Mer, very close to the hotel. Take the opportunity to visit the artisans' shops, and buy souvenirs for you and your loved ones.
Around 10am, you will be driven to return to Visa Lodge hotel.
After dropping your luggages in your room, the driver will take you to Village Noailles in Croix-des-Bouquets (about 30 minutes from the hotel). This village is home to many artisans who make beautiful works with cut iron. By visiting a workshop, you will have the opportunity to create your own work under the sharp eye and guidance of an expert.
Day 8 : Port-au-Prince - Departure - Breakfast
In the morning, the coffee aroma will say «good morning» one last time. You will have a good breakfast.
Depending on your flight schedule, you will be transferred to Toussaint Louverture International Airport.
